So Far This Month . . .

I've been doing good at keeping the few resolutions I've made (particularly the exercising).

I've read three books already: Embers of Love (Striking a Match, #1) by Tracie Peterson, Petticoat Ranch (Lassoed in Texas #1) by Mary Connealy, and Michal (Wives of King David #1) by Jill Eileen Smith. I'm currently reading A Bride in the Bargain by Deanne Gist.

I won the book  by Julie Klassen in a giveaway on goodreads.com and Season 3 of Downton Abbey. Sooo excited about them!

I got sick with the flu last Saturday and Sunday and then on Monday and Tuesday I had a cold. =/

I went ice skating last Monday with some family and a few friends. I forgot to take off my skate guards before going on the ice and slipped and fell. Twice! It was sooo embarrassing (but now it's just plain hilarious)  and I have nasty bruises on my knees! Some guy there told me it happens to him at least once a year. But still, I rarely ever fall and always tale my guards off . . . except this time I wad distracted by one of my nephews and totally forgot I still had them on. That won't happen again I can tell you that!

I went snow shoveling today and made some money for missions and to send one of my friends a late Christmas present. =)

I put up some polls on my sidebar for you to vote on.

What have you done so far this month? Anything exciting (or embarrassing)?

Exciting Stuff and Summer

Hello my lovely readers! It's been a while since the last time that I actually did a more personal post (i.e. about me, my life, my family, etc.) and so I will do one now! =)

This month has had its busy parts and slower parts but has been quite nice so far. My friend Jeri (my older brother Kirk's girlfriend) graduated on the second. She and my brother-in-law both left on a plane on the eighth, her to Norway for a month to visit a good friend and him to Alaska until the beginning of August to do commercial fishing. My family and I miss them both but Becky (my sister married to Isaiah) misses Isaiah a LOT! About two weeks before he left they found out she was pregnant which is very exciting (it'll be the seventh time I'll be an aunt) but has made them both miss each other even more knowing that both of them are missing out on sharing time together before Becky gets a big tummy and can't do much (She's only a month and a half along right now). Becky really wants to have twin boys and Isaiah thinks that would be cool but doesn't particularly care just that he's having a baby. I'm so happy for my sister! She's had baby fever ever since that got married one and a half years ago but wanted to wait a while. So, it's about time she got pregnant! =D

While most people are done with school my siblings and I are home-schooled and are going to do school through the summer. I'm a bit behind (from too many breaks because we're home-schooled) so I don't mind since it'll give me the chance to catch up. =) I'll be a junior come this fall and am pretty excited about that.

    My summer plans involve:
Helping with Vacation Bible School at my church on the 27-29 of this month
Lots of reading! =D
Sun bathing (got to get my tan hehe)
Working for my dad in his lawn care business (who doesn't need money?)
Getting dirty in our garden
A few possible trips out of state
"Field trips" to towns/cities in Montana (possibly to Philipsburg (again) and Great Falls)
Random fun stuff!

What are some or your plans for this summer? Going on vacation anywhere? Or will you be staying at home enjoying the sunshine, nice weather, and familiar surroundings?

P.S. All pictures were taken from Google Images.

Picturoos from Chistmas

I know it's New Years Eve but I forgot to post these picturoos (saying just plain ol' "pictures" gets boring after awhile) from Christmas Day. I only took the ones with the GIANT glasses (which I got for Becky and Isaiah :D). My sister Kabes (/KayleeBeth/K-Bops etc.) took the rest. Sometimes I get tired of being that annoying person carrying around and taking picturoos with the camera that has a blinding paparazzi flash. KB can be that person every now and then. :)

Super stars!

The love-nerds <3

Here we have "Alien Heather"saying she comes in peace.

Poor kid. He experienced the blinding flash specialty.

Becks coloring with Bella.

Nice durse/murse Ben.
Durse: dad-purse
Murse: man-purse

My my! She sure has a funny head! (ha. ha. ha. sooo funny.)

Yay! Blue princesses! Ya think Bella would've told Becky that people aren't blue but that they're "red and yellow, black and white. They are precious in His sight . . ."

Katie: "Hmm . . . Where did it go?" Becky: "It's right there, stupid."

Katie: "Did you really just call me stupid?" Becky: "What do you think Katie?"

I don't think Katie was too happy about being photographed (more than once). At least I can honestly say I didn't take the picturoo. He he he.

P.S. Have a happy New Year! (That sounds so commanding lol) :D

Confession: I Played Dress Up!

Yes. I'm sixteen. And I STILL play dress up! Well . . . I don't technically play dress up on a regular basis. My niece Bella wanted to play . . . and it happened to be dress up . . . and I just went all out. Makeup, friend's old Halloween costume, and got her all dressed up. So, you see, Bella really dragged me into it . . . well, I actually WENT into it . . . (and might I say, willingly?) and had fun. :) Now, what have YOU done recently that you used to do as a child? He he. See? I didn't post this embarrassing post for nothing. :D

Note: I took the pictures above. You can see more of my work by going to: www.chasitysherellephotography.blogspot.com Thanks!

Catch Catcher!

Two of my nephews (Bransen and Gabriel) and my niece (Bella) got a kitten a few weeks ago from these people that are giving away cats, but you have to find them in the barn and chase them! So, we finally got a kitty and Bransen wanted to name it Catcher because we had to catch it. (I would say "Catch-her" but I'm not sure if it's a boy or a girl.) We went over to their house on Wednesday and I got some snapshots of "it" and Bella and Gabe (Bransen was running around outside). It was quite hard to do so for the cat would not sit still. But I tried.

Bella's poor hairbow

Look at those pretty eyes

Bella: "The kitty's tail tickles!"
Catcher: If only she'd let me go . . .

Bella looks so excited and Gabe is such a cutie
. . . and the kitty wants to escape!
