Ryan - His Hair and Hairdos

Last evening my little brother didn't know what to do with his hair (our church is the only church I know of that has its mid-week service on a Thursday night instead of a Wednesday night). He wanted to try something different than what he normally does: combing it back (which with his thick hair it looks pretty funny). So he ran upstairs to the bathroom looking for a spray bottle filled with water. I was in the bathroom doing my hair and pointed to where it was. Straightforward he started spraying his hair . . . and all things close by including me.
"Stop! Stop! STOP! You're spraying me!" I protested. "What?" he asked, with an incredulous look on his face. "Let me do your hair." I said. I combed it a little off to the side. "Usually, when I do my hair like this I comb the front up too." he suggested. Oh my, does he have the ideas. "Nah, it looks good this way." said I while spraying some hair spray in it (I was very surprised that he let me use that stuff considering it was in a pink bottle). "I'm just saying." he shrugged.

Two of Ryan's Favorite Hairdos
The "Middle Mohawker" and "Sideways"
(and no, that Camaro is not ours, but it was outside the Dollar Tree, lol)

Ryan's Words on Hair:

Today - "My hair looks just like it did yesterday and I even scratched my head a lot during church and it's still the same!" (That hairspray worked good, lol.)
(When KayleeBeth with her hair in a messy, messy bun/ponytail stated, "I haven't shushed my hair yet today." Grinning I said, "It's very loud looking and a good shushing would do it well." Ryan burst into a fit of giggles and said,) "You need to rake your hair KayleeBeth! So does Rapunzel, her hair is waaaaaay too long to brush it!"
Several times - "I like to comb my hair straight up. It makes me taller and look like Dad." (Well, it's definitely better than Alfalfa's from the Little Rascals.)

Aren't ten-year-old's the greatest? They have so many clever and fun ideas (in my brother's case hairstyling)! I'm so glad that God gave our family Ryan. He's a handsome, hilarious and hairstylist expert addition to the family. =)
